We understand peace as respect for the other, tolerance of difference, which reduces friction between one another, thus avoiding conflicts.
The Cosechemos Paz Foundation initially carried out its work in the City of Cali, the nerve center of the armed conflict in Colombia, because it was in the middle of different insurgency and drug trafficking centers. From here we strengthen the household economy, we disseminate Human Rights, Democracy, Citizen Coexistence, among other civic, cultural, social and environmental activities, which strengthen our mission.
In addition to having a component that tends to stimulate in rural and peasant communities the interest in creating productive chains that contribute to the economic development of their environments, thus strengthening their autonomy and empowerment.
We currently have an active presence in Colombia, and it is in our interest to continue building ties of friendship and work with organizations in other countries.
